In 2007, Strathmore Bagpipes continued the winning trend set in previous seasons. Using a full set of Strathmore Bagpipes, Richard Hawke won the Argyllshire Gathering Gold Medal, the Royal Braemar Highland Gathering Gold Medal, and several other top light music prizes.
Murray Henderson was the winner of the Masters Invitational (Glasgow) Championship, and Faye Henderson won the MacGregor Memorial Piobaireachd at the Argyllshire Gathering. Both Murray and Faye play full sets of Strathmore Bagpipes.

Since its introduction in the 2004 season, the new Strathmore chanter has achieved significant wins at the highest levels, including first prizes in major events at the Northern Meeting, the Argyllshire Gathering and other premier events. Excerpts from a March 2005 Review by Bill Livingstone in Piper & Drummer Magazine:
What does the Strathmore sound like? It sounds very good indeed. It has a very nice presence, it's bright and clean, and while it projects well (admittedly a hard quality to measure when playing) there is a warm quality to it which is ideal for solo piping. I could achieve tonal stability over sessions of an hour and a half, and I was very pleased with the quality of the piobaireachd high G.
How often have we squinted at the space above high G to see the name of the maker? Not so with the Strathmore. The name is prominently displayed on the ball of the chanter, in large deeply engraved letters – a kind of declaration of pride, and well-deserved it is.
